The Health Professions Advising Office at the University of Maryland hosts an annual Health Professions School Recruitment Fair in April. This event is open and free to all local university and college students. Each year we host close to 60 schools of medicine, dentistry, optometry, podiatry and a variety of Allied Health and post-bacc. programs.

Directly following our Health Professions Recruitment Fair, Dr. Milford Foxwell, the Associate Dean
of Admissions at the University of Maryland School of Medicine will speak with students regarding
how best to prepare for medical school and the application process.  Dr. Foxwell is always direct,
realistic and entertaining.  This is one you should not miss, regardless of what year you are in
college or when you plan to apply.
